Tewa Walk a thon – January 24th 2009

The “10th Tewa Inclusive Walk-a-thon” was successfully held on 24th January, 2009. This year we had 'Inclusive' theme. For that reason participants were clad in their ethnic dress. For the fourth consecutive year Nepali famous actor Rajesh Hamal inaugurated the event by releasing balloon up in the air. Tewa advisor Dr. Mohan Man Sainju spoke briefly about the event.

The event started at 7 am in the morning from Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan office, Pulchwok and concluded at Tewa office, Dhapakhel with breakfast. About. 200 people participated in the event and we raised Rs. 4,99,905/- (Four Lakhs Ninety Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Five Rupees) from the event.
